Terms and Conditions of Outlet and Parts Store Warranty

CoralVue items sold as open boxes, closeouts, overstock, or refurbished have a 90-day limited warranty. For 90 days, CoralVue guarantees the product is free from material and workmanship defects. The warranty is activated on the date of purchase.

  • All product warranties are at CoralVue's discretion.

  • Customers are responsible for warranty shipping fees both within and outside the contiguous United States.

  • For international warranty claims, replacement parts will be sent to the seller, who must forward them to the customer. If a product needs repair, the place of purchase covers all shipping and duty fees to and from the country of origin.

  • CoralVue may void any warranty for improper use, which includes:

    • Water damage

    • Saltwater corrosion

    • Excessive heat from improper installation

    • Electrical surges

    • Power failures

    • Poor maintenance

    • Pumps run dry

  • Modifications to any devices may also void the warranty.

  • CoralVue does not cover personal injury, loss, or damages related to product use.

Warranty Coverage

Abyzz Pumps (motor block and driver ONLY) are backed by a 10-year limited warranty, which covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. This warranty provides repair or replacement of the defective motor block and driver ONLY at Abyzz's discretion.

Our warranty policy ensures the quality and durability of our products; however, it does not extend to wearable parts that naturally degrade over time due to regular use. Wearable parts include, but are not limited to, items such as filters, seals, gaskets, volutes, fuses, adapters, bearings, impeller wheel, mounting brackets, and other components subject to routine wear and tear. These items are considered maintenance components and require periodic replacement to ensure optimal performance. For further details on which parts are classified as wearable, please refer to our product manual or contact our customer support team.

 

Warranty Registration

To activate your 10-year limited warranty, you MUST register your Abyzz pump directly with us. Warranty registration is mandatory; pumps that are not registered within 30 days of purchase will not be eligible for warranty coverage.

Warranty Terms

  • Duration: The warranty is valid for 10 years from the date of purchase, provided the pump is registered as required.
  • Coverage: The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow the provided installation and maintenance instructions.
  • Non-Coverage: This warranty does not cover consumable parts or items damaged due to improper installation, environmental factors, or accidents.

To make a warranty claim, please contact Abyzz Pumps Customer Service. You will need to provide proof of registration and proof of purchase. If the claim is valid, Abyzz will repair or replace the defective part or pump at no charge.

 

Non-Transferrable Warranty

Please note that this warranty is non-transferable. It is only valid for the original purchaser of the pump and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.

 

Limitations of Liability

Abyzz Pumps' liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the pump.

Returns and Replacements

CoralVue handles all warranty repairs. If you happen to have an issue, please submit a CoralVue ticket at https://support.coralvue.com to file a claim. If a return is necessary, a Return Authorization (RA) number will be provided in the ticket. Please do not return the product without an RA number.

Replacements
Product replacements are at the discretion of the support representative or technician. If a product is found to be defective and requires replacement, it will be exchanged for an equivalent product. CoralVue will provide the customer with similar specifications and performance if the product is unavailable. Depending on the circumstances, the replacement product may be offered at a pro-rated or discounted price.

Shipping
Please pack the returned product using packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other dependable materials. Include proof of purchase, a note explaining the issue, and your return address information. Once we receive the product, we will promptly repair or replace it and send it back. All items are returned using FedEx Ground or the U.S. Postal Service. If you would like overnight or second-day shipping, please request expedited shipping pricing through your support ticket.

*To our distributors: If your customers have warranted Octopus products, they must go through CoralVue, as we will not accept or issue credit for used skimmers, reactors, or pumps.

Product warranty applies only to NEW items purchased through verified resellers. Second-hand purchases are not covered. Open-box deals are also not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
