The Octopus Motorized (ANC) Automated Neck Cleaner helps maintain your Reef Octopus protein skimmer at peak performance by periodically wiping the inside of the neck where bio-organics tend to accumulate. This excellent skimmer accessory not only preserves your skimmer's efficiency but also saves you the time-consuming task of cleaning the skimmer's neck. As you know, buildup in the neck causes foam to stick to the sides, restricting the collection of skimmate in the skimmer's cup.

Keeping the neck wall clean ensures consistent skimmer performance and reduces downtime. This device employs twin squeegees to automatically eliminate buildup from the skimmer neck. The (ANC) Lid features a high-torque, low-RPM motor, a wiper mount, a lid with mounting clamps, and the squeegees. To operate this user-friendly device, just plug the unit into a timer (not included) or aquarium controller and set it to run for a few minutes, four to six times daily. By using it this way, you will never face crud buildup along the walls of your skimmer's neck. This will remove the daily cleaning chore for two or more weeks while maintaining the level of skimmate production you would normally achieve with a freshly washed collection cup.

Warranty is activated on the date of purchase.

This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited as follows:

  • To the product only as long as it remains in the possession of the original purchaser.
  • To the product that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
  • To the product that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by other than CoralVue, Inc.
  • That CoralVue be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
  • That CoralVue, Inc. shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or corrections to the defective construction within a reasonable period of time.
  • Under no circumstances shall CoralVue and/or the Manufacturer be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the product defect.
